KidCourage is a faith-based company specializing in creative services that spark joy, wonder, creativity, and remind kids of all ages that they are wonderfully made. Whether it’s creating books that prompt a sense of confidence and self-assuredness, sidewalk chalk and window art that make people stop and smile, or school author visits that challenge kids to think and dream big, we are here to work with you!
The mission of KidCourage is to empower kids of all ages to learn and know their true intrinsic worth through Christ.
Aubrey Kruse
Founder, KidCourage
Aubrey is a children’s book author/illustrator and chalk artist based in Fort Collins, Colorado. She discovered her love for chalk art in 2021 while working at Disney World in Orlando, and has been hooked on the messy medium ever since. Additionally, as a children’s book author/illustrator, she published her debut book, “Is My Mane Too Fluffy?,” in October of 2025.
Her faith is the foundation of her work, and she is committed to creating characters and stories that spark joy, build confidence, and speak truth into the hearts of children. She created KidCourage to bring her stories and visions to life in a way that can inspire and empower kids to feel and know their worth.
She calls Northern Colorado home and when she is not creating, loves to rollerblade, paddleboard, play ultimate frisbee, and taking advantage of all Colorado has to offer!
